Reinhard dislikes Kempf’s report and sends Mittermeyer and Reuenthal’s Fleet, believing smashing Geiesburg into Iserlohn is optimal, mirroring Yang’s strategy. Imperial scouts spot Yang’s reinforcements. Kempf attempts to lure the Iserlohn Fleet out by feigning retreat to seal it inside, but Julian Minci sees through this. Merkatz leads the Iserlohn Fleet into the trap, allowing them to attack the Imperial Fleet from behind during the engagement with Yang’s forces. Kempf then tries to ram Geiesburg into Iserlohn, but the Alliance destroys the engines. The damaged fortress drifts randomly, destroying many Imperial ships before exploding. The Imperial Fleet retreats, though some commanders pursue against Yang’s orders.
