Tetsuro discovers a message in a bottle from the 999's window containing a letter from adventurer Stanley exploring the planet Arcadia. The letter indicates that Stanley and his crew face grave danger while searching for the giant elephant, Flame. Tetsuro convinces the 999 to travel to the planet. They quickly locate Stanley, his wife Merusa, and their assistant, Narl. While Merusa and Narl are relieved to be rescued, Stanley remains stubborn and insists on continuing his exploration despite the perilous situation. The group must navigate Stanley's determination against the immediate threats present on the planet.
