During their thirty-eight hour and fourteen minute stop on the Planet of Illusive Love, Tetsuro becomes separated from Maetel. He meets Naya, a girl who sells poems, and learns she is interested in Lestel, an aspiring artist residing in a specific room. The narrative shifts to Lestel, who is romantically involved with Feras, a woman who works as his model. However, Feras seems to harbor feelings for Bina, a wealthy young man frequenting the cafe where she is employed.
