Ep. 5: Odd Jobs Gin Trio Mistaken for Terrorists After Package Explosion

While the Odd Jobs Gin staff bicker, a crashing delivery scooter prompts a dying postman to beg them to deliver a package. Reluctantly, Gintoki, Shinpachi, and Kagura travel to the Embassy of Inui in the Dog Star system. The package detonates, causing the trio to be mistaken for terrorists. As they attempt to flee, Shinpachi is captured and decides to drag his companions down with him. Cornered by gatekeepers, they face imminent defeat until Gintoki’s old acquaintance Kotaro Katsura, also known as Zura, intervenes to save them. Meanwhile, the Shinsengumi police force, having secretly observed the entire incident, prepares to make their move against the group.
