This is the 227th overall episode, presented as a sidestory. The series has participated in numerous one-sided crossovers before, but this time it collaborates with the Jump comedy manga Sket Dance. The anime, which airs on Thursdays at 6 PM, follows a trio of odd-jobbers who experience many laughs and tears, a premise that closely resembles Gintama. When Gintoki warns that the Sket Dan is approaching Gintama, the members of Sket Dance appear and issue a challenge to the main cast.
