Chie works as a cel-painter at the animation studio where Kintaro is employed as an errand-boy. The production team encounters significant difficulties during their work. To resolve these issues and ensure the project moves forward, Kintaro must reach out to and rely on his old friends for assistance. Additionally, the episode features a cameo appearance by an animated version of Tatsuya Egawa, who provides his own voice for the character.
