Ep. 4: Professor Hanamoto reflects on past art exhibitions and Rika's tragic history

The art exhibition resumes, prompting Professor Hanamoto to recall Hagu's previous decision not to submit paintings. He shares a memory of buying a postcard of moonlight on the sea, which reminds him of Rika's husband's death and her severe injury on the beach. Meanwhile, Mayama surprises Rika by taking her on a train to Sapporo. After showering and sleeping, they drive north to a barren area where Rika visits the graves of her father and dog. She thanks Mayama for the trip. Later, Rika attempts to sneak out of the hotel, angering Mayama until he sobs, fearing he will lose her. Finally, Mayama returns to Tokyo by plane, while Rika flies to Spain. At the Harada Design Office, Mayama realizes the hotel room in Spain had two separate bedrooms.
