The battle against the monster persists until Shugo realizes that draining a player character's data grants immunity to the virus. After the creature is defeated, Shugo defeats Morti, and a hacker involved in the incident explains their motives. Upon Morti's death, a final trap activates, forcing Shugo and Rena to unlock the true power of the bracelet Aura gave Shugo.
