Alphonse and Winry receive hospitality from Rosé and the residents of Liore. Darius, a chimera who aided Edward, withdraws money from Edward's state alchemist research account, prompting a military raid on the clinic. The trio escapes the assault. Hohenheim discloses his true identity and connection to Father to Alphonse. Olivier views the military's artificial human army, while Greed encounters Bido. Bido attempts to remind Greed of their chimera friends, but Greed kills him. This act triggers a fierce internal conflict between Ling's conscience and Greed. That night, Greed invades Bradley's mansion to confront him directly about the events.
