Edward and Alphonse engage Pride while May attempts to defeat Father alone, as Ishvalans establish alkahestry transmutation circles across Amestris. Scar reveals a reconstruction transmutation circle from his brother’s research tattooed on his other arm during his battle with Wrath. Although Edward’s group gains the advantage and Greed arrives, Father captures four sacrifices and uses Hohenheim to complete his transmutation circle. He absorbs all souls in Amestris, gaining sufficient power to split the earth. This allows him to unlock the sky and absorb the entity known as the Eye of God.
