Rookie hitman Saitou faces Hakata competition while investigator Banba explores a mayor-linked suicide.

Saitou, a rookie employed by a contract killing firm, has been reassigned to Hakata, a fiercely competitive territory for assassins. Simultaneously, private investigator Banba is commissioned to examine the suspicious suicide of a detective. The deceased officer left behind a photograph featuring the current mayor of Hakata, a figure surrounded by numerous dark rumors. In a separate incident, Lin, a cross-dressing hitman working for a criminal syndicate, confronts his employer to demand increased payment. The boss responds by presenting a business card identifying a potential target, though the specific details of this assignment remain unclear.

Lin infiltrates Banba's office to protect him from hitmen while Saitou faces mistaken identity.

Lin appears to have entered Banba's office with lethal intent, yet her true goal is to shield him from assassins hired by her employer, Zhang. In a separate incident, Saitou narrowly escapes torture and death after Jirou and Misaki mistake him for someone else. Grateful for his survival, Saitou spends the night celebrating in town. He later wakes up in a hotel room, disoriented from drinking, to discover the body of an unfamiliar woman lying beside him.
