Ep. 1: Chizuru Yukimura seeks her missing father in Kyoto while hiding from ronin and Rasetsu.

Disguised as a boy, Chizuru Yukimura travels to Kyoto to find her missing father. While evading ronin, she is attacked by Rasetsu, also known as furies. Shinsengumi members intervene and defeat the furies before they can harm her. At the Shinsengumi headquarters, Chizuru Yukimura reveals her identity and her reason for being in Kyoto. The Shinsengumi permit her to reside at their headquarters because they are also searching for her father. This arrangement allows her to stay safely while the group continues their investigation into her father's whereabouts.
