Hakuouki Movie 1: Kyoto Ranbu

A young woman posing as a man searches for her missing father in Kyoto, where a conflict rages between the Shinsengumi, a Shogunate military group, and the Rasetsu, vampire-like warriors. Her father developed a secret elixir that boosts strength, speed, and healing, making it a target for the Rasetsu, who will kill to gain control of it. She becomes entangled with Toshizo Hijikata, the Shinsengumi's vice commander, and his group of skilled swordsmen. This film is the first part of a series that reimagines the first two seasons.
