The principal orders Andrews to be relocated to the school stables, a development that delights Vivian, who anticipates further opportunities to intimidate him. Meanwhile, Dorothy accidentally overhears Phyllis and Mathilda discussing their scheme concerning Andrews. She immediately alerts Lynn to the situation. Feeling sorrowful about Andrews' impending departure, Lynn spends the night sleeping in the stable to be near him.
