Yōto and Tsukiko visit an animal café to plan their next steps, only to spot Azusa working as a maid. After fleeing a janitor near a love hotel, they locate her at another job and learn she lives alone. Yōto asks Azusa on a date to free her from work, with Tsukiko tagging along. Dissatisfied with the venue choices, Tsukiko intervenes, leading them to an arcade where she wins Azusa a stuffed turtle. Tension rises when Yōto mentions friends, causing Azusa to withdraw. The situation worsens when Tsukushi, the track and field president and Tsukiko’s older sister, appears and questions their outing, forcing the pair to escape. Upon returning, they find Azusa being harassed by former schoolmates, leaving her feeling betrayed and cold toward her companions.
