Recent college graduate Saki Morimi encounters trouble with police in Washington D.C. after trying to toss a coin into the White House fountain. A mysterious, naked Japanese boy assists her, possessing only a gun and cell phone. He returns to his apartment, discovering bullets, a homemade firearm, and fake passports. Comparing his living situation to the film Taxi Driver, he destroys the documents in a toaster. Juiz, identifying himself as the boy's concierge, informs him via phone that his memory has been erased. The boy adopts the name Akira Takizawa and chooses to return to Japan with Saki. During their flight preparation, they observe news reports detailing a missile attack on Tokyo.
