Ep. 4: Akira tracks down Seleção No. 5, a brain surgeon who explains the organization's deadly rules.

Acting on Kondō's advice, Akira searches for other Seleçãos and locates Seleção No. 5, Hajime Hiura, a prominent brain surgeon. Hiura initially suspects Akira is the Supporter, the entity responsible for monitoring Seleçãos and executing those who violate their agreements. Once convinced of Akira's innocence, Hiura reveals that Seleção is an organization led by Mr. Outside, who selected twelve people and provided each with ten billion yen to save Japan. Members must adhere to strict behavioral standards or face elimination by the Supporter. Tragically, shortly after Akira departs, Hiura is killed by the Supporter because he had exhausted his allocated funds.
