Ep. 11: Issei Vows to Rescue Rias and Confronts Vali in the Dimensional Gap

Issei declares his intent to meet Vali despite warnings from Rossweisse, Sirzechs, and Ajuka about the Khaos Brigade. He refuses to quit being a Devil, backed by his friends, prompting Sirzechs to allow the rescue mission. Azazel suggests blaming Fallen Angels if things go wrong, but Issei insists on facing any punishment. At the old Kuoh Academy building, Issei and Koneko wait for Kuroka, who demands Shirone in exchange for meeting Vali. Issei rejects this, leading Vali, Arthur, and Bikou to reveal themselves. Vali tests Issei’s resolve, who summons the Boosted Gear and defies the fate of Dragon hosts. Impressed, Vali agrees to guide them using Arthur’s Holy King Sword, Collbrande, to cut through dimensions. Azazel gives Asia the Down Fall Dragon Spear before they enter the Dimensional Gap. Upon finding Rias, they discover she is hostile due to a cursed Scale Mail fragment. After Rias repels their attacks with Power of Destruction, Issei enters Balance Breaker to fight her, destroying Arthur’s field and forcing the others to retreat while he battles Rias alone.
