Ep. 8: The Gremory Group Confronts Diodora Astaroth to Rescue Asia Argento from Hostage Situation

The Gremory group reaches the temple where Diodora Astaroth holds Asia Argento hostage. Despite halting the rating game due to the Khaos brigade attack, Diodora forces the Occult Research Club to fight his servants. The group splits: Issei Hyoudou, Gasper Vladi, Xenovia Quarta, and Koneko Toujou face promoted Pawns and Rooks, while Rias Gremory, Akeno Himejima, and Yuuto Kiba confront a Queen and two Bishops. Issei uses his Bilingual technique after Dress Break fails, allowing Gasper to freeze enemies and Koneko to defeat them. Rias and Akeno overcome the healing-supported opponents. Later, Kiba defeats Freed Sellzen, now a Chimeria. A flashback reveals Diodora injured himself to force Asia to heal him, aiming to kill Raynare and revive Asia. In the present, Issei defeats Diodora using his Balance Breaker. He destroys Asia’s restraints with Dress Break. Before leaving, Asia prays to stay with Issei forever and then disappears.
