He confesses a past sin, recalling events from Onikakushi-hen, including his paranoia and the murder of Rena and Mion. It is revealed that Mion had intended to draw on Keiichi with a marker instead of giving him an injection, which preceded the killings. Rika is shocked by this revelation and later informs Keiichi that only she remembers the murder, offering her forgiveness. This strengthens Keiichi's resolve to prevent such tragedies. Although Rena’s atonement prevents further tragedy, the time loops continue, leaving only a fragile hope for the future.
