Kousuke kisses Masahiro at school, but Masahiro stops him due to public setting concerns. Masahiro seeks advice from Hasekura using ramen coupons, while classmate Monika Matsuzawa confesses her crush on Kousuke, which Masahiro overhears. The couple walks home, where Kousuke admits hunger during test season. They visit a pet shop to buy food for Sasa, spending time there because Masahiro is excited by animals, including a dog named Shigeo resembling Mitsuru. Yuusei Yuge is introduced as a new friend and cook. The boys discuss their preferences, leading Kousuke to feel jealous, though Masahiro comforts him. Hasekura informs Kensuke about the relationship and warns Kousuke against bold actions at school. Masahiro attempts to give Kousuke a homemade lunch but flees after seeing Monika offer one. Later, Kensuke and Hasekura deliver the lunch to Kousuke at the Ooshiba house. Kousuke reveals he rejected Monika’s lunch, stating he only accepts food from his beautiful wife. Masahiro then kisses Kousuke independently, and Kousuke shows him that he has adopted Shigeo.
