Ep. 12: Masahiro and Kousuke reconcile after a misunderstanding regarding their breakup and a missed letter.

Masahiro encounters Kensuke, his mother, and Hasekura while shopping, explaining that their planned surprise party is irrelevant due to his breakup. Meanwhile, Kousuke leaves a letter at Masahiro’s home and meets him at a park where they once hid from a gang. Kousuke acknowledges the strain their relationship caused and asks to buy cat food for Sasa. He then clarifies he does not wish to end things, revealing Masahiro misinterpreted their previous conversation. Kousuke requests a meeting at a cliff-side if Masahiro considers reconciling. Later, Masahiro’s mother mentions finding Kousuke’s letter before leaving for Christmas. Despite initial reluctance, Masahiro reads it, realizes he wants to be together, and rushes to the location. He confesses his love, and Kousuke reciprocates, giving Masahiro a ring that unfortunately does not fit.
