The group searches for Dominica Skoda, a dragoon cavalier and one of the Eight Heroes, in Ipsom. To avoid attention, Toru wraps Chaika's coffin in cloth. The Gillett Corps learns from the post war Kleeman Agency that reinforcements are unavailable. Guy, a holographic informant, directs them to Dominica’s forest residence and an abandoned magical vehicle. After repairing the transport, Chaika reveals she was abroad during her father's death and lacks war memories. The trio is attacked by Orthrus but is rescued by a female knight while the Gillett Corps continues its pursuit.
