Apr 10, 2014While foraging, unemployed saboteur Toru Acura meets Chaika Trabant, a white-haired wizard carrying a coffin. A man-eating unicorn interrupts them, prompting Toru to delay the beast so Chaika can cast a spell with her Gundo sniper rifle. Chaika buys Toru a meal, but his sister Akari arrives and accuses him of slacking. Separately, Alberic Gillett and his Gillett Corps meet Roberto Abarth, a war hero who fought the Gaz Empire five years ago, requesting an item he acquired during that conflict. Abarth refuses their demand. Chaika then hires the Acura siblings to steal the item from Abarth's mansion. That night, Toru, Akari, and Chaika infiltrate the estate but encounter Abarth. He mistakes them for Alberic's thieves and prepares to use magic against them, but stops in shock upon recognizing Chaika.

Toru distracts him while Chaika and Akari locate the magic source: a severed hand in a jar. The Gillett Corps attacks, demanding Chaika and the hand. Akari rescues Chaika while Toru leads the pursuers on a chase, fighting Nikolay Autotor. Cornered by Alberic, Vivi Holopainen, and a magic vehicle, Alberic reveals Chaika is Chaika Gaz, daughter of Emperor Arthur Gaz. He fears her existence will reignite war by empowering Gaz loyalists. Toru remains unmoved, allowing Chaika to use magic for his escape. She explains she collects her father's remains for a proper burial. Toru and Akari agree to assist her quest, earning her gratitude.
EP 3The trio seeks the hero Dominica Skoda in Ipsom while evading Gillett Corps pursuers.

The Gillett Corps learns from the post war Kleeman Agency that reinforcements are unavailable. Guy, a holographic informant, directs them to Dominica’s forest residence and an abandoned magical vehicle. After repairing the transport, Chaika reveals she was abroad during her father's death and lacks war memories. Toru deduces Dominica is not human, as she failed to recognize Chaika, an Eight Hero. He forces the Dragoon to reveal its true form. The team combines their skills to defeat the creature. The Dragoon explains that Dominica died after the war ended but could not forget her master. True to her word, the dragon Fredrika gives them Arthur's eyes and chooses to accompany Toru, Akari, and Chaika as a young girl.

Toru captures the warrior, only to find she resembles Chaika with shorter hair. When the Gillett Corps arrives, both groups flee, and Chaika Trabant is taken captive. After being bribed with food, the red-armored woman identifies herself as Chaika Bohdan, claiming to be Emperor Arthur's daughter. She seeks to use her father's remains for revenge against the Eight Heroes and those who abandoned him, contrasting with the original Chaika's goals. Her companions reveal other girls also claim this lineage. Meanwhile, wizard Mattheus Callaway and Catboy Leonardo Stola track the group but find the companions instead. After regrouping with Fredrika, Toru and Akari plan their next move, while the Gillett Corps faces orders from the Council of Six Nations to suppress farm riots. At the meeting point in Perimeral, Toru declines Red Chaika’s offer to join her group. As the group departs, Chaika questions her identity, but Toru affirms her reality. Red Chaika and David reappear, proposing an alliance to locate Arthur's remains faster. However, Red Chaika reveals her intent to eliminate White Chaika, stating only one can exist. This threat forces Toru and Akari to fight, compelling the group to flee while Toru worries about facing both the Gillett Corps and other Chaikas.
EP 7The group investigates the Valley of No Return after learning Simon Scania vanished there four years ago.
May 22, 2014Guy reveals that Hero Simon Scania disappeared at The Valley of No Return four years ago. Before the group can act, the Gillett Corps ambushes them, forcing an escape via Fredrika's Dragoon form. Upon reaching the valley, they encounter dense magic fog. When Chaika descends the wall, the others follow, but the ground collapses, dropping them into the mist. Inside a protective barrier, Akari, Chaika, and Frederika observe Toru suffering from an illusion caused by the fog. Frederika explains she could only shield them, leaving Toru exposed. Toru eventually stumbles into their barrier, breaking the spell. The reunited party locates and destroys the fog-generating machine. They discover Simon, who is now insane and delusional. He confesses to building the device to inflict the betrayal he felt when his wife and best friend abandoned him. After retrieving Arthur's leg from the machine, the group departs, leaving Simon alone.

When the princess attempts to rob a mansion and is ambushed, Toru confirms his suspicions after an attack by Neo Gaz members. The group reveals they are former Gaz citizens turned thieves after being abandoned by the Six Nations. Despite Toru's reluctance, Chaika urges him to save the fake princess, whose real name is Julia. Layla explains that these girls were manufactured with implanted false memories of being Arthur’s daughter, each assigned distinct personalities and a singular drive to collect Arthur’s remains.
