Chaika, Red Chaika, and allies reach the island but are captured by demihumans under Kiril and Viktor Izhmash. Akari reunites with Fredrika while imprisoned Chaika befriends Ursula before Toru rescues her. They discover an underground lake with dead Fayla and a dying Kraken, who explains magic history and Viktor’s clone experiments. The Kraken warns Chaika about future dangers regarding Arthur’s remains. Kiril captures Chaika and Toru. The Gillett Corps learns of a Gaz Empire floating fortress. Toru, White Chaika, and Red Chaika are brought to Viktor with a blue-haired girl. Viktor reveals Chaikas are war orphans brainwashed by Arthur’s plan. Red Chaika denies this, but White Chaika despairs after accepting the truth as Viktor prepares to dissect them.
