Toru and his companions travel to the Principality of Hartgen to retrieve the final part of Arthur's remains, while the Gillett Corps arrives at the Secret Island to hear Kiril and Ursula's account of prior events. At Hartgen, Red Chaika and her group enter the tournament after winning preliminary rounds, with Toru joining as a backup plan to win the remains if theft fails. Zita and Matthäus meet King Stephan to request cancellation, only to discover his daughters Alina and Irina are also Chaikas and face his refusal. Vivi and Nikolai join the deadly competition, and Guy visits Alberic, who has lost his memories. While others rest, Toru and Akari attempt to infiltrate the castle, and Chaika observes Niva leaving voluntarily with Guy.
