After Sayaka's funeral, Hyoh serves Kaioh as a ruthless tyrant, eliminating all opposition. This brutality forces Nagato, Hyoh's loyal aide, to betray his master. Nagato provides shelter to Kenshiro and the sick Shachi, a decision that endangers his own life and the safety of his entire village. As Hyoh's forces prepare to slaughter the remaining villagers, Kenshiro and Shachi intervene to stop the massacre. Following this rescue, Kenshiro departs to directly confront his older brother, Hyoh, setting the stage for a final clash between the siblings amidst the chaos caused by Hyoh's descent into tyranny.
