Viceroy Jakoh dispatches Solia of the Purple Light to Mamiya's village to lure Kenshiro into combat. Solia murders the village elder and bans all mentions of the North and South Stars. Kenshiro arrives to find the settlement ruined and engages Solia, a Gento Kōken master tasked with eliminating anyone linked to the Hokuto and Nanto schools. While this duel occurs, Bat and Lin advance on the final western sector. Bat discovers Haz and Gil, the Harn brothers trapped in concrete within a prison, and chooses to rescue them. Despite sustaining injuries during the battle, Kenshiro ultimately defeats Solia.
