Ep. 22: Shin's Final Stand and the Tragic End of Chapter One

Following Barcom's mutiny, the Southern Cross lies in ruins, leaving Shin isolated in his palace with only a handful of loyal followers. After a year apart, Kenshiro confronts Shin for the first time and defeats him in their rematch. Shin subsequently discovers that Yuria took her own life to stop his destructive obsession with winning her affection. Refusing to be killed by Kenshiro's technique, Shin jumps from the palace roof to commit suicide. Ken then reunites with Bat and Lin to bury his former friend, marking the conclusion of this significant chapter in his life.
