Raoh overpowers the sick Toki with superior strength until Mamiya attempts to intervene. Rei stops her, warning of death and confessing his love. When Mamiya fires a crossbow bolt, Kenshiro breaks free from Toki's paralysis to intercept the arrow returned by Raoh. The two warriors resume their battle, with Raoh employing techniques stolen from masters imprisoned in Cassandra. They fight until both are too wounded to continue, prompting Toki to separate them and end the conflict in a stalemate. Following this, Raoh's army deserts him, and he departs on his black stallion, Kokuoh.
