Kenshiro discovers Souther's secret during their battle: his heart is on the right side and his pressure points are inverted. This knowledge allows Kenshiro to effectively use Hokuto Shinken against him. Desperate, Souther employs the ultimate technique of Nanto Hō-ōken, but Kenshiro counters and delivers a fatal blow. As Souther dies, he enters the mausoleum to join his late master. Shu's blood flows down the pyramid, causing it to collapse and bury Souther. The children celebrate Kenshiro's victory. Meanwhile, Raoh departs, remaining focused on his own conquest plans.
