Ruru accompanies the group as they spend the day supervising infants at a daycare center. After quickly studying a textbook to learn childcare techniques, she finds herself in a rivalry with Saaya regarding their affection. Later, Ruru summons an Oshimaida to divide the Cures' focus between battling the monster and shielding the terrified children. However, she experiences a change of heart and steps forward to protect the children directly, allowing the Cures to defeat the Oshimaida while she ensures the safety of the infants.
