During a hiking excursion, the group encounters Emiru Aisaki, a classmate of Hana's sister Kotori, who displays excessive caution regarding hiking dangers. When a monkey steals Hana's tambourine, Hana and Emiru become separated from the main party and end up at the bottom of a pit. Emiru worries about causing trouble, but Hana encourages her by praising her helpful nature, leading the two to form a friendship. After rejoining the others, the Cures engage in battle against a Kappa Oshimaida that was created by Papple.
