Ep. 9: Mataemon attacks Kojiro while Jubei defends Inshun and others train

Mataemon assaults Kojiro as Yoshihiko monitors the Chingo Stone barrier repairs. Sen, Muneakira, and Yukimura discuss the crisis while Jubei shields Inshun from suspicion. Yukimura studies the Samurai Bride, and Sen, Matabei, and Hanzo train, though Kanetsugu’s interference fails. Jubei’s conversation with Musashi inadvertently raises his suspicions. Kojiro observes Mataemon being controlled and follows her into town. The group searches the area while Musashi confronts Inshun regarding the street attacker. Sen locates the attacker but is captured. To save Sen, Matabei kisses Muneakira to become a Master Samurai, and Hanzo does the same to gain strength. After Mataemon is defeated and retreats with Kojiro, the group concludes the Dark Samurai intends to destroy Great Japan.
