Muneakira, Jubei, and Yukimura interrogate Sen regarding the Chingo Stone, which rests at Mt Fuji's base to stabilize Japan's Qi. The ghost seeks to destroy the stone to end Tokugawa power using the Dark Samurai. Yoshihiko's master samurai previously defeated them, but Charles revealed Jubei defeated Amakusa, giving Yoshihiko a month for repairs. Mataemon, hearing this, leaves to find the stone, prompting Musashi to vow to kill her. Meanwhile, Yukimura explains the Samurai Bride ritual requires seven Master Samurai to channel their Qi through a General, a process that historically results in the death of all participants except the bride.
