Yukimura, Matabei, and Muneakira attempt to help Jubei control her Master Samurai transformation while Kanetsugu spies for Yoshihiko under the guise of friendship. His presence enrages Yukimura due to past grievances. Sen investigates the connection between recent spirited away incidents and contemplates kissing Muneakira. After Yukimura shares her concerns, Kanetsugu interrupts, leading Muneakira to accept injury for ignoring Yukimura's feelings. Kanetsugu is stopped, allowing Sen to confess her true feelings and kiss Muneakira, creating a contract. A defeated Kanetsugu flees the dojo but is pursued by Hanzo.
