Ep. 8: The Classic Literature Club attends a mystery play by Class 2-F
Aired on June 11, 2012

Chitanda converses with an upperclassman, leading to an invitation for the Classic Literature Club to view a mystery production by Class 2-F. The scriptwriter fell seriously ill before completing the story, leaving the identity of the murderer unknown. Houtarou is reluctant to engage in detective work but eventually agrees to participate as observers. The group plans to listen to the three amateur detectives from Class 2-F and subsequently provide their opinions on the performance. This arrangement allows the club members to witness the unfolding mystery without directly solving it themselves.
