Tachimukai is amazed by Endou's new Ijigen The Hand. Kogure's comment about Tachimukai copying Endou motivates him to create his own technique. He begins harsh secret training. Haruna, Kabeyama, and Kurimatsu discover this and offer to help. Haruna makes Kogure apologize and join the training. As defenders, they struggle to make good shots. Haruna sees Tsunami surfing and calls him over for assistance. The group goes overboard, causing Tachimukai to pass out. Endou and the others help him regain his courage. In the next practice, his new technique starts to manifest. Meanwhile, Fudou meets a man with sunglasses while jogging.
