Kidou and Sakuma search for Fudou to verify his identity as Kageyama but fail, causing their lack of focus to halt training under coach Kudou. Kidou and Sakuma pursue Fudou separately, with Sakuma encountering someone resembling Kidou before all three board a bus where Endou unexpectedly joins them. Meanwhile, Tachimukai practices his original hissatsu technique, Maou The Hand. Haruna, Tsunami, Kogure, Kurimatsu, and Kabeyama assist by taking shots and attempting to inspire him. Kogure mocks Tachimukai with insults like "wimpy goalkeeper" and "gutless" to provoke him. While this initially provides a hint for the technique, the mockery ultimately discourages Tachimukai, who then reflects on how Endou would handle the situation.
