Pochita's plan fails when Nekotani, terrified of dogs, trips and knocks herself unconscious. A centipede crawls into her shirt, prompting Pochita to enter and kill it. Upon waking, she is calmed by him licking her scraped knee. Inukai returns, consumed by jealousy, and deliberately stubs her toe to force Pochita to lick it. She then interrogates Nekotani and demands Pochita crawl into her dress. Nekotani eventually overcomes her fear by petting him at home. However, she is shocked when Inukai strips to her underwear and cosplays as a dog to play with Pochita.
