Inukai brings Pochita to a public pool that permits dogs, accompanied by Nekotani, who quickly regrets the outing. Nekotani enters the water but sinks and nearly drowns until Inukai rescues him. While the group takes a break to exercise, Inukai struggles with the routine and requires assistance. Chaos ensues when a little girl’s dog chases a terrified Nekotani, causing him to fall into the pool and land on Inukai, resulting in both losing their tops. Inukai retrieves Nekotani’s top while he retrieves hers, noting her pride in his independent swimming. The dog’s owner apologizes for the disturbance. On the way home, Inukai expresses a desire to return, much to Nekotani’s annoyance. Later, Inukai is delighted to find that both she and Pochita have lost weight, bringing him joy.
