Ep. 19: Magatsuhi Seizes Kohaku While Sesshomaru Battles Byakuya's Demons
Sesshomaru attacks an illusion of Magatsuhi created by Byakuya, while the real spirit takes over Kohaku’s body at Kaede’s village. Magatsuhi severely injures Miroku and Sango, knocking Rin unconscious, before escaping. Miroku attempts to use his Wind Tunnel but fails, sustaining critical wounds. Sesshomaru discovers the deception and uses Bakusaiga to defeat the thousand demons summoned by Byakuya. Meanwhile, Sango kisses the unconscious Miroku and pursues Kohaku. Inuyasha and Kagome join the chase. Magatsuhi reveals Kohaku is reliving the slaughter of his father and comrades. Responding to his sister’s plea, Kohaku uses the remaining pure light in Kikyo’s jewel shard to break the spirit’s control. He jumps into a canyon to force Magatsuhi to leave his body.
