Diablo saves priestess Lumachina Weselia from Paladin Gewalt, freezing him in ice. Believing Diablo is God because he saw her naked, she demands marriage or divine recognition. To avoid conflict with Rem and Shera, Diablo hides his identity. Lumachina seeks Head Paladin Batutta to expose the Head Cardinal’s corruption. Diablo escorts her to Zircon Tower City, where his Cross Reverie dungeon resides. There, she meets Klem and Edelgard, who clash instinctively. Diablo leaves them behind for safety. Before departing, Klem upgrades Shera’s bow to a demonic ebony version to protect her. The group continues toward Zircon Tower City while Lumachina maintains her belief in Diablo’s divinity.
