Ep. 2: Yousuke regrets Guardian Heroes ranking and Takafumi reunites with Sumika

Yousuke buys the final SEGA magazine and is disappointed that his favorite game, Guardian Heroes, ranked 197th while a Bishoujo game topped the list. He explains his dislike for RPGs due to confusing stories, recounting how he failed to cure an Ice Witch named Mabel for an ice sword, instead killing a fire dragon and abandoning her. On New Years Eve, Mabel visits Yousuke, impressed by his bravery. Misinterpreting her desire to overcome cowardice, Yousuke encourages her to become a NEET and rejects her ice sword offer because he dislikes cold things. Meanwhile, Takafumi reunites with Sumika Fujimiya, whom he has not seen since childhood. Sumika sees Yousuke chanting spells and assumes he is exploiting Takafumi, but Takafumi remains oblivious, believing they are merely friends. Infuriated by their dynamic, Sumika resolves to intervene.
