Ep. 5: Yousuke Recalls Mabel's Assassination Attempt and the Truth About His Wished Power
Yousuke recalls a past incident where Mabel attempted to assassinate him after losing her purpose as a sword guardian. She had left her village to become an adventurer and cure her heartbreak, but Yousuke’s suggestion to sell his gift ring enraged her, leading to a fight. Elga intervened to freeze Yousuke, prompting Mabel to reveal that her Ice Clan was founded 400 years ago by a reincarnated Japanese Samurai who wished for the Ice Sword to kill God. Takafumi questions if Yousuke also received a wish, so they rewind to his arrival.
