At the Academy's Annual Sports Camp, students learn of a mandatory Table Tennis competition. Chiari and Ruby are excited to compete together, while Mutsumi, Nobara, and Marie join to find partners for Magic Gems. During a scavenger hunt, the group meets Tour, an American Shorthaired Jewelpet who prefers working alone. That night, the girls pair with boys, though Marie struggles until Io agrees to partner with her. The next day, everyone practices for the event. Mouri attempts to practice but leaves, only to have his bag stolen by Tour. After Tour falls, Azusa witnesses the incident, leading Apels to pair Mouri and Tour together for the competition, creating a tense dynamic between them.
