Ep. 23: Kohaku seeks apprenticeship to become cool and impress a girl

Ruby and friends join Chiari’s class, while Rossa and Sapphie attend the senior class. Kohaku, a Shiba Inu Jewelpet, interrupts to request apprenticeship from the boys to appear cool. He explains his motivation at the cafe: to impress a girl who rescued him from an ice cream cone. Taira accepts him, but Kohaku’s annoying behavior and prideful attitude frustrate the group. After school, he follows Sanada, using magic to create a giant fan that blows him and passersby into sumo wrestlers. Disappointed by his conduct, the boys reject him, causing Kohaku to run away hurt. As he mopes, the Red Moon begins to brainwash him.
