Lapis, influenced by the Red Moon, takes over the Jewelpet Cafe and Jewel Academy. The girls discover her possession and oppose her plans to rule Jewel Land. Despite Jewelina's confidence that collecting three Magic Gems will resolve the crisis, the Academy is sold to Lapis. She imposes harsh cooking lessons and tortures staff members. The group realizes they must actively stop her evil takeover to protect their home.
