Sapphie possessed by Unhappiness aura corrupts Jewel Land residents and pets.
Mar 8, 2014After fixing Granite's spaceship, Sapphie is possessed by the Unhappiness aura, spreading corruption across Jewel Land. Azusa finds Sapphie has lost her memory and ignores a shared rose, leading to Azusa's despair and possession. The Red Moon strengthens as the EK Mens and corrupted pets take Sapphie to the Black Jewel Castle. Defeated at the Jewelpet Cafe, the girls are cheered by Marie, who wears Glove Hats. They discover the Jewel Box and Magic Gems are stolen, likely by Sapphie or Kosuke. Chiari and Ruby decide to infiltrate the castle, cutting the lock despite injury. Meanwhile, Jewelina and her sister notice the Red Moon has doubled in size and send more Happiness aura. The girls enter through a secret pet door, unaware of a deadly trap awaiting them inside.

Garnet Falls Under Red Moon Spell While Friends Discover EK Mens' Robot Plot
Mar 15, 2014Garnet cleans the cafe unaware the Red Moon has corrupted her, while Chiari and Ruby worry about spreading unhappiness affecting their personalities. Marie arrives at the dorms to discuss reversing the changes, with Chiari suggesting Paroma holds answers about being a chosen one. The group visits the Jewelpet Cafe to check on Garnet but finds robots modeled after her serving customers instead. Realizing the EK Mens are using Sapphie's knowledge to take over the cafe, the pets use magic to redecorate an underground area. Garnet forces the girls to work, allowing Marie and others to escape through a trapdoor into an underground Jewel production plant. Kosuke appears and reveals his true plans as the situation escalates for the captured friends.

Mar 22, 2014After Magic Gems shatter from Unhappiness, Nene and Ruruka are possessed by the Red Moon. Despondent, Chiari is encouraged by Ruby to keep fighting. They encounter Marie, Mutsumi, and Nobara, who are attacked by an Unhappiness slime. Marie urges Chiari to stop the Red Moon but is hit by a blast meant for Chiari and Ruby. Nobara and Mutsumi are corrupted while trying to help. As Chiari loses hope in a pit, Jewelina and her sister send a Happiness blast. Megumina reveals Chiari is the chosen herald for the Small Moon of Happiness. Jewelina charges her Jewel Pod and contacts Chiari with a hint to weaken the Red Moon. Using a powerful Jewel Flash, they teleport to a stage before the EK Mens and possessed friends. Ruby snaps Chiari out of corruption, but her attempt to spread happiness fails as her friends attack. Kosuke plans to eliminate Ruby for interfering with his schemes.

Mar 29, 2014Chiari travels to the Red Moon to rescue Ruby and confront Kosuke, joined by Megimina and Jewelina. Upon arrival, she finds Ruby corrupted and Kosuke fused with the Red Moon, which destroys the temple. Chiari survives the collapse and battles the entity, but her happiness only temporarily weakens it. The sisters intervene, allowing Chiari to communicate with the Red Moon. It reveals that a face on its surface caused it to be locked away as an omen, leading it to absorb human unhappiness. Chiari argues that happiness multiplies, but the Red Moon rejects this, intensifying its aura. The Jewelpets and girls arrive to purify Ruby. The sisters fuse into S-Jewelina to destroy the pedestal, freeing Kosuke. The group then discovers a mirror with graffiti resembling the Red Moon, prompting Ruby to confess her role in the events.
