The team pursues Tata through various locations, including a snow-covered area and near an academy. Ruby uses magic to create bananas, but Tata destroys the dormitory. The group uses specialized Swan Boats to intercept him. After Tata slips on a peel and crashes into the academy, Garnet hosts a segment. Finally, Kosuke ejects from his plane, allowing Ruby to increase her size to confront the giant Tata before he reaches the cafe.

Brainwashed by the Red Moon, Sachi meets the despondent Diana, and both retreat to their dormitory. Refusing to participate, they ignore Chiari’s attempts to cheer them up, forcing the others to intervene and discover the race is more difficult than anticipated.

Under their control, Nobara and Alex return to the dormitory, treating Marie harshly and demanding she serve them. They force Marie and Mutsumi to perform exhausting tasks, including cycling to power a heater and cooking, while expressing disdain for Marie’s efforts. Worried about the Red Moon’s growing power, Jewelina takes action. Later, Nobara and Alex steal the Jewel Box key and use Jewel Flash magic to transform Magic Gems into clothing, revealing their plan to Marie, who is annoyed by their behavior.

They discover the ball is actually Takumi, and the group resolves to find a way to reverse the curse and restore him to normal.

While Sapphie repairs his ship, the girls worry about Jewelina. Meanwhile, the EK Men attempt to extract energy from fans and charm Chiari, but Nene and Ruruka intervene. Sapphie purifies Unhappiness energy using her Magic Gem to fuel the ship. The girls collect more energy with vacuums, but Kosuke discovers their plan. He disguises himself to steal the saucer, eventually hijacking it while Granite installs the fuel tank. Jewelina continues her pursuit inside a cave, unaware of the unfolding crisis.

They discover the Jewel Box and Magic Gems are stolen, likely by Sapphie or Kosuke. Chiari and Ruby decide to infiltrate the castle, cutting the lock despite injury. Nobara and Mutsumi are corrupted while trying to help. As Chiari loses hope in a pit, Jewelina and her sister send a Happiness blast. Megumina reveals Chiari is the chosen herald for the Small Moon of Happiness. Jewelina charges her Jewel Pod and contacts Chiari with a hint to weaken the Red Moon. Using a powerful Jewel Flash, they teleport to a stage before the EK Mens and possessed friends. Ruby snaps Chiari out of corruption, but her attempt to spread happiness fails as her friends attack. Kosuke plans to eliminate Ruby for interfering with his schemes.

The sisters fuse into S-Jewelina to destroy the pedestal, freeing Kosuke. The group then discovers a mirror with graffiti resembling the Red Moon, prompting Ruby to confess her role in the events.
